Have you ever felt like life was spinning out of control, like you’re grasping for answers but the pieces just won’t fit together? That’s exactly where I found myself as we studied Job 9 and 10 in Bible study yesterday.
I really thought I was done with technology. I was ready to call it quits.
Today’s post is something a bit different from my usual personal stories and reflections. I’m diving into a topic that’s always fascinated me and I think you’ll find it intriguing too: the events leading up to the Battle of Armageddon. This isn’t just another blog entry, it’s a special deep dive into the prophetic scriptures and what the Bible says about the end times. It’s a bit of a departure from my normal musings, but I promise it’s going to be a fascinating and eye-opening journey. So, let’s grab our Bibles and dig into the mysteries of Armageddon together.
Today, I want to dive into something that’s been on my heart for a while, why reading the Bible is so crucial if you want to walk the walk as a true Christian. Calling yourself a Christian is one thing, but living it out is another. And guess what? The Bible is our ultimate guide for this journey, a handbook for our human and spiritual life.
There’s something incredibly rejuvenating about spending a day at the beach. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the simple joy of watching a sunset can serve as gentle reminders of the beauty of God’s creation. During our current trip to Florida, I had one of those days, filled with tranquility and a surprising encounter.
Greetings from sunny Florida! As I navigate the heat (not as scorching as it feels, but still high 80s), juggle the demands of babysitting, and try to find enough time for everything, I am reminded of God’s constant presence and provision. It’s in moments like these that I reflect on the words of the Psalmist: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1).
I’ve been slacking on the blog this week, caught up in a whirlwind of work and activities. But amidst the chaos, I’ve kept my focus on the path the Lord has laid out for me. It’s like constantly checking the compass to ensure I’m still headed true North.
It’s Friday once more, and boy, did this week zoom by like a gust of wind! Today’s shaping up to be a full day of editing as I play catch-up on a ton of work.
