There’s something incredibly rejuvenating about spending a day at the beach. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the simple joy of watching a sunset can serve as gentle reminders of the beauty of God’s creation. During our current trip to Florida, I had one of those days, filled with tranquility and a surprising encounter.
Greetings from sunny Florida! As I navigate the heat (not as scorching as it feels, but still high 80s), juggle the demands of babysitting, and try to find enough time for everything, I am reminded of God’s constant presence and provision. It’s in moments like these that I reflect on the words of the Psalmist: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1).
Today kicked off bright and early with a bit of a whirlwind adventure alongside my pastor and good buddy, Dave. We spent the morning on a mission to pick up and deliver some cabinets, which turned out to be quite the journey.
Yesterday’s Resurrection Day service was truly amazing in every way. Having my adult children join my wife and me was a blessing beyond words. As they navigate through life, I’ve been fervently praying for their spiritual journey, and seeing them in church was a heartfelt answer to those prayers.
Today, I wanted to share a bit about what’s on my mind. First up, let’s talk about the Men’s Saturday breakfast Bible Study. There’s something truly special about coming together with fellow believers over a hearty breakfast and diving into the Word. It’s a time of fellowship, learning, and growth that I always look forward to.
