Happy Thursday!

I’ve been slacking on the blog this week, caught up in a whirlwind of work and activities. But amidst the chaos, I’ve kept my focus on the path the Lord has laid out for me. It’s like constantly checking the compass to ensure I’m still headed true North.

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to join a home study group at a brother’s place. It’s been a gathering spot for a tight-knit crew of believers for decades. Being there, surrounded by fellow followers of Christ, felt like a genuine blessing. It’s moments like these that remind me how the Lord keeps leading me to new experiences and connections I never even knew I needed.

Next month, my wife and I are off to Florida to spend some time with a couple whom we love curious about the joy in our lives. It’s amusing, really, because the secret is so simple even a child could understand. Plus, we’ll be doing a bit of babysitting while we’re there. After about a month, we’ll return home, ready to reconnect with the blessings waiting for us here.

“At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.”
(Matthew 11:25-26)

“and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)

I tend to overthink stuff. I’ll turn a simple idea into a complex puzzle in my head, only to realize later that I was way off base. I’m learning to trust the Lord’s guidance more, to let go of the reins, and let Him steer the way. After all, He’s never led me astray before, and I doubt He plans to start now.

I hope your week is full of hope, faith, and the Word. Dive into the Word, let it nourish your soul. Because trust me, it’s more important than you might think.

Stay blessed, my friends.
