Hey everyone, happy Sunday! Just wanted to share a bit about my day so far—it’s been filled with blessings from start to finish.
Kicked things off bright and early with a powerful church service this morning. Pastor dove into Mark chapter 8:1-12, and let me tell you, it was one of those sermons that really hits you in the heart.
So, Pastor took us through the scene where Jesus miraculously feeds four thousand people with just a handful of loaves and fish. Can you imagine witnessing something like that? It’s a reminder of God’s abundant provision and His ability to turn the impossible into reality.
Then, we got into the part where the Pharisees show up, demanding yet another sign from Jesus. It’s like they just couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that He was the Messiah. But Jesus, being the wise guy He is, refuses to play their game. He knows that true faith isn’t about flashy signs—it’s about trusting in Him, plain and simple.
After the service, I hung out with some brothers in Christ, fellowshipping for a good couple of hours. It’s moments like these that remind me of the importance of community and having like-minded believers to journey with. Such a blessing to have people like that in my life.
As I sat there listening to Pastor’s message, it got me thinking about my own faith journey. How often do I find myself seeking signs instead of simply trusting in God’s promises? It’s a humbling reminder to lean on Him, especially when things feel uncertain.
Tonight, in about an hour from now, I plan to go to a Bible study to go over Matthew… but more on that another time.
As Sunday winds down, I’m really feeling grateful for those gentle nudges from God, reminding me of His unfailing provision and care. It’s like He’s saying, “Hey, I’ve got you, no matter what.” So here’s to taking each step with Him, especially when the path ahead feels a bit shaky.
God Bless and enjoy the rest of your evening!
