Hey everyone, got a new post for you today. I’ve decided to take a break from the marriage stuff for now. Just felt like it was time to switch gears for a bit. But hey, who knows, maybe someone out there needed to hear those words about marriage, even if it’s just one person. Sometimes the Holy Spirit works in mysterious ways, right?

So, this week I learned a pretty important lesson, and it all came from 1 Timothy chapter 6. It’s about keeping your moral compass straight, especially when it comes to priorities. It’s easy to get caught up in life’s hustle and bustle, trust me. But if you’re not grounded in the Word, you might end up drifting off course without even realizing it.

Now, I’ll be honest, I’m still relatively new to this journey of faith. It’s been about four years since I found my way back to the Lord. And let me tell you, those old habits creep in. Sometimes, I catch myself slipping back into my old ways without even thinking about it.

But thankfully, the Holy Spirit’s always there to set me straight. Case in point: this week’s little moral dilemma. Long story short, I was heading down a misdirected path, but thanks to a gentle nudge from above, I was able to course-correct before things went too far.

And let me tell you, the clarity that comes afterward is something else. Every minute that passes, I’m reminded of just how lucky I am to have the Lord watching over me. His guidance is like a steady hand on the tiller, steering me clear of trouble.

So yeah, that’s been my week so far in a nutshell. A break from the marriage talk, a reminder to stay true to my morals, and a whole lot of gratitude for the big guy upstairs. Here’s to another week of walking in His light!

And hey, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, just remember, He’s always got your back.

Blessings,
Pete
